Preparation steps
- Gather the necessary ingredients as per the formulation recipe.
- Clean and prepare the herbs by drying and powdering them individually.
- If purification (Shodhana) is required for any ingredient like Chitraka, perform the specific Shodhana process as per classical texts (e.g., immersing in lime juice).
- Take sesame oil (Tila Taila) as the base oil in a clean vessel.
- Prepare a decoction (Kashaya) using prescribed herbs and water.
- Add the powdered herbs and the Kashaya to the sesame oil.
- Heat the mixture on a low flame, stirring continuously, until all the water evaporates and only the oil remains.
- Filter the oil through a clean cloth to remove any solid particles.
- Allow the oil to cool and store it in an airtight container away from direct sunlight.
Safety contraindications

- Severe Kapha imbalances.
- Acute Pitta disorders.
