Adult dose
250 mg - 500 mg once or twice daily
Pediatric dose
125 mg - 250 mg once or twice daily, based on age and weight
Preparation steps
- Collect all the ingredients as per the formulation.
- Dry and pulverize each ingredient separately.
- Weigh and mix all the powdered ingredients together in the specified proportions.
- Pass the mixture through a fine sieve to ensure uniformity.
- If making tablets, add a suitable binder (e.g., gum acacia) to the powder mixture and granulate.
- Press the granules into tablets of the desired weight.
- Dry the tablets or powder in a low-temperature oven or air dryer.
- Store in airtight containers, protected from light and moisture.
