Chandanadi Taila is a cooling oil used in Ayurveda to reduce fever, burning sensations, and bleeding disorders, primarily by pacifying Pitta dosha. It is also beneficial for skin conditions and nervous disorders.

- Burning sensation, thirst, fever, bleeding disorders (raktapitta), general debility due to pitta aggravation, skin diseases with burning sensation.

Preparation steps
- Finely crush all the herbs.
- Prepare a paste by mixing the crushed herbs with sesame oil.
- Prepare a decoction using Chandana, Udichya, Nalada, Dhatri, Yasthyahva, Sariva, and Bala.
- Add the herbal paste to the decoction.
- Boil the mixture until all the herbs are fully infused into the oil.
- Remove from heat and filter the oil.
- Transfer the filtrate to a clean bottle and store it away from heat, light, and moisture.
Safety contraindications
- Pregnancy: avoid deep lower-abdomen massage to prevent undue uterine stimulation.
- Open wounds: unless cleaned and covered, may trap debris-use only on superficial first-degree burns.
- Individuals on strong blood-thinners: potential minor interaction via skin absorption of active coumarins.
- Acute Kapha aggravation: may feel slightly heavy, so blend with lighter oils (e.g. sesame mixed with til taila).
- Liver or kidney problems.
