Modern description
A decoction prepared from the Brihatyadi group of herbs, combined with Gokshura, used to promote diuresis and alleviate Vata disorders.

- Vata disorders, generalized body ache, inflammatory conditions (Shotha), respiratory ailments, urinary disorders, musculoskeletal pain, weakness, cough, and fever.

Adult dose
3-6 grams of the powder, or 15-30 ml of the decoction, or as directed by the physician.
Pediatric dose
25-50 ml
Preparation steps
- Take all the ingredients in equal quantity.
- Make into coarse powder.
- Add 1 part of herbal mixture to 16 parts of water in a pot.
- Boil the water until it is reduced to one-fourth of its original volume.
- Strain the decoction through a cotton cloth.
- Allow to cool slightly before consumption.
