Preparation steps
- Divide the ingredients into three parts: Kwatha Dravya, Pishti Dravya, and Sneha Dravya.
- Take Kwatha Dravya and water, boil well until the decoction reduces to 1/10th of the liquid, and filter it.
- Boil separately Pishti Dravya and filter the pulp through a cotton cloth to remove any fiber content.
- In a large copper vessel, add the filtered decoction, add boiled Pishti Dravya, and boil.
- To this, add Mishri (sugar) powder and Sneha Dravya and cook until it becomes thick like jam consistency.
- Remove from heat and allow it to cool for several hours.
- When the Rasayana comes down to room temperature, add honey and mix well, store tightly in airtight bottles.
