Preparation steps
- Take the specified ingredients in the appropriate proportions.
- Clean, dry, and powder the ingredients separately.
- Mix all the powdered ingredients thoroughly.
- For preparing Kwatha (decoction): Add one part of the powder to 16 parts of water.
- Boil it down to one-fourth of the original volume (until 4 parts of water remains).
- Filter the decoction through a clean cloth.
- Administer warm, preferably with honey.
