Indications
- Indigestion, anorexia, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, diarrhea due to Ama, Vata-Kapha imbalance in the digestive system, fever associated with indigestion.

Key ingredients
- Bilva root
- Agnimantha root
- Shyonaka root
- Gambhari root
- Patala root
Adult dose
Decoction: 48-60 ml, once or twice daily. Powder: 3-6 grams with warm water.

Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for appropriate pediatric dosage.
Preparation steps
- Take all the ingredients of Bilvadi Panchaka.
- Add the ingredients to a specified quantity of water, typically 16 times the weight of the herbs.
- Boil the mixture over medium heat until the water is reduced to one-fourth of the original quantity.
- Filter the decoction through a clean cloth to remove any solid particles.
- Allow the decoction to cool down to a lukewarm temperature.
- The prepared decoction is now ready for use.
