- Useful in treating Kapha-Vata dominant conditions.

Adult dose
Varies greatly depending on the individual's constitution, digestive strength (Agni), and the specific condition being treated. Typically starts with a very small dose, such as 1-2 grams, and gradually increased under the guidance of an Ayurvedic physician. Higher doses are used in Sodhana Therapies, but should ONLY be administered by a qualified practitioner.
Pediatric dose
Not recommended for children without specific guidance from an Ayurvedic practitioner.
Preparation steps
- Procure authentic and identified Bhallataka fruits.
- Purify Bhallataka fruits through Shodhana processes as per classical texts (e.g., soaking in cow's milk or urine, rubbing with brick powder).
- Extract Bhallataka oil using traditional methods like Patala Yantra or modern extraction techniques.
- Mix purified Bhallataka oil with honey in the prescribed ratio.
- Triturate the mixture until a homogenous blend is achieved.
- Store the final product in a clean, airtight glass container, away from direct sunlight.
Safety contraindications
