Adult dose
5-10 ml orally or for external application.
Pediatric dose
2.5-5 ml for internal use, sufficient quantity for external application
Preparation steps
- Take Bala mula and other herbs as per the formulation.
- Wash and dry the herbs.
- Prepare a decoction (Kwatha) by boiling Bala and other herbs in water and reducing it to one-fourth.
- Prepare a paste (Kalka) of Bala root.
- Heat sesame oil (Tila Taila) with the Kalka and Kwatha.
- Add cow's milk (Godugdha) to the mixture.
- Simmer the mixture until only the oil remains, ensuring all moisture has evaporated.
- Filter the oil through a clean cloth.
- Store the oil in an airtight container.
