Key ingredients
- Bala root 4.8 kg
- Water 19.2 liters
- Ghee 1.2 kg
Adult dose
5-10 ml (1-2 teaspoons) once or twice daily
Pediatric dose
1/2 - 1 teaspoon
Preparation steps
- Collect Bala herb and other ingredients.
- Prepare a decoction of Bala.
- Add the decoction to ghee and other herbs as per the formulation.
- Heat the mixture until all the water evaporates, and only the ghee remains.
- Filter the ghee to remove any solid particles.
- Store the Bala Ghee in a clean, airtight container.
Safety contraindications
- Not recommended for individuals with indigestion, acute fever, or hyperlipidemia.
