Preparation steps
- Prepare Kashaya (decoction) if the formula requires it.
- Dissolve sweetening agents (Guda, Sharkara, or Sita) in the liquid.
- Filter the mixture through a clean cloth.
- Boil the filtrate over mild fire to a thicker consistency (1-2 threads).
- Add Ghee just before obtaining the desired consistency.
- Remove from heat and add fine powders of specified herbs (Prakshepaka dravyas).
- Stir well to ensure a homogenous mixture.
- Allow the mass to cool, then add honey and store in an airtight container.
