Adult dose
5-10 ml, or as directed by the physician.

Preparation steps
- Gather all necessary ingredients as per the formulation mentioned in classical texts.
- Prepare a coarse powder of the solid herbal ingredients.
- If using fresh herbs, extract the juice (Swarasa) from them.
- In a clean vessel, combine the base oil (Tila Taila) with the herbal powder or Swarasa.
- Heat the mixture on a low flame, stirring continuously.
- Maintain a gentle simmer until all the moisture evaporates and only the oil remains.
- Ensure the herbal solids do not burn during the process.
- Filter the oil through a clean muslin cloth to remove any solid particles.
- Allow the oil to cool completely.
- Store the oil in a clean, airtight glass container away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Safety contraindications
- Avoid in conditions with Kapha aggravation or during acute fever.
