Adult dose
15-30 ml (1-2 tablespoons) twice a day
Pediatric dose
5-10 ml
Preparation steps
- Collect all the ingredients as per the formulation.
- Clean and dry the herbs.
- Coarsely powder the herbs individually or as per the formulation requirement.
- Mix the powdered herbs with water in a fermentation vessel.
- Add jaggery or sugar as specified in the formulation.
- Seal the vessel and allow it to ferment in a warm place for the specified period (usually 15-30 days).
- Monitor the fermentation process regularly.
- Once fermentation is complete, filter the liquid through a clean cloth.
- Store the Asava in a clean, airtight container.
- Label the container with the date of manufacturing and expiry date.

- Pregnancy, lactation, and severe liver disorders.
