Preparation steps
- Coarsely powder the ingredients of the Aragwadhadi group.
- Add the powder to a suitable quantity of water (typically 16 times the weight of the powder).
- Boil the mixture until the water is reduced to one-fourth of the original quantity.
- Filter the decoction through a clean cloth.
- Allow the decoction to cool slightly before use.
- Add honey or other adjuvants as prescribed by the physician.
