Purpose

Treatment for Arshovartma, Shushkarsha, and Anjananamika.

Indications

• Eye disorders, especially those caused by Kapha and Vata imbalances. Useful in conditions like eye itching, redness, and mild infections.
• Arshovartma (Eyelid disorders)
• Shushkarsha (Dryness of eyes)
• Anjananamika (Specific eye ailment)

Key ingredients

• Rasanjana - 1 part
• Daruharidra - 1 part
• Haritaki - 1 part
• Bibhitaki - 1 part
• Amalaki - 1 part
• Saindhava Lavana - 1/2 part
• Karpura - 1/4 part

Adult dose

1-2 tablets (250-500mg) once or twice a day

Preparation steps

• Collect all the ingredients as per the formulation.
• Clean, dry, and pulverize the ingredients individually.
• Mix all the powders in specified proportions.
• Pass the mixture through a fine sieve to ensure uniformity.
• If preparing tablets, add a suitable binder and granulate the powder.
• Dry the granules and compress them into tablets.
• Coat the tablets, if desired.
• Pack the tablets or powder in airtight containers.
