- Eye diseases, conjunctivitis, trachoma, blurring of vision, for promoting eye health and clarity, corneal ulcers (as an adjunct)

Adult dose
A small quantity, applied as a collyrium to the inner eyelids using a clean applicator (anjana shalaka).
Pediatric dose
External application, as needed (consult a practitioner)
Preparation steps
- Collect the necessary raw materials (herbs, minerals).
- Ensure quality of raw drugs through pharmacopoeial analysis.
- Clean, dry, and pulverize the ingredients individually.
- Combine the ingredients in specified proportions.
- If a paste is required, mix with a suitable liquid (e.g., honey, ghee, breast milk or Sura) to achieve desired consistency.
Safety contraindications
- Netraroga associated with Udavarta, Krodha, Bhay, Jwar, Shirorog, and sleep disturbances.
