Purpose

The formulation is used to prepare Ghrita. Because the Alpa-Paishachika [ghrita] is not available, the word "Maha" [great] in Maha-Paishachika is an expression of reverence.

Preparation steps

• The mixture is heated until all the water evaporates and only the ghee remains, infused with the herbs' properties.
• The Ghrita is then filtered and stored.
