Preparation steps
- Collect all the ingredients of Agastyavaleha.
- Clean and dry the herbs.
- Prepare a decoction (Kashaya) of the specified herbs.
- Strain the decoction to remove any solid particles.
- Add jaggery (Guda) to the decoction and heat until it dissolves completely.
- Continue heating and stirring the mixture until it reaches a semi-solid consistency.
- Add the specified powdered herbs (Prakshepa dravyas) to the semi-solid mixture.
- Mix thoroughly to ensure uniform distribution of the powdered herbs.
- Add ghee (clarified butter) and honey (Madhu) to the mixture.
- Mix well until the electuary (Avaleha) is properly formed.
- Allow the electuary to cool down.
- Store the Agastyavaleha in a clean, airtight container.
