Adult dose
5 - 10 grams
Pediatric dose
2.5-5ml
Preparation steps
- Collect all the ingredients.
- Wash and dry the herbs.
- Prepare a decoction of the herbs.
- Filter the decoction to remove any solid particles.
- Add ghee to a heavy-bottomed pan.
- Add the herbal decoction to the ghee.
- Cook on low heat, stirring continuously, until all the water evaporates and only the ghee remains.
- Filter the medicated ghee through a fine cloth.
- Allow it to cool and store in an airtight container.
Safety contraindications
- High Pitta conditions, diabetes, or as directed by physician.
