Preparation steps
- Collect and identify the ingredients.
- Dry and coarsely powder the ingredients.
- Prepare a decoction (kashaya) by boiling the herbs in water until reduced to a quarter.
- Filter the kashaya to remove solid particles.
- Add jaggery or sugar to the kashaya and heat until it attains a semi-solid consistency.
- Incorporate the powdered ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Add honey and ghee (if specified) after cooling.
- Ensure uniform consistency before storing.
