Yashtyadi oil, likely processed multiple times, is used for Vata and Pitta disorders, often as an alternative to Mahasneha oil. It helps in hairfall, premature graying and various skin ailments.

2.5-5 ml
Preparation steps
- Collect the necessary ingredients: Yashtimadhu, base oil (Sesame or Coconut oil).
- Prepare a decoction of Yashtimadhu.
- Combine the Yashtimadhu decoction with the base oil.
- Heat the mixture slowly, allowing the water to evaporate and the oil to absorb the beneficial properties of Yashtimadhu.
- Filter the oil and store it in a clean, airtight container.
Safety contraindications
- Avoid use on open wounds or in high Pitta individuals; perform a patch test before use.
