Adult dose
For external application: Apply liberally to affected area 1-2 times daily. For internal use (only if qualified physician recommends): 5-10 ml with warm water or milk, once or twice a day.
Pediatric dose
Not typically recommended for internal use in children. External use only under strict medical supervision.
Preparation steps
- Collect the ingredients: Yashtimadhu (licorice root), base oil (e.g., sesame or coconut oil).
- Prepare a decoction of Yashtimadhu in water.
- Mix the Yashtimadhu decoction with the base oil.
- Heat the mixture on low heat until all the water evaporates, leaving only the oil infused with Yashtimadhu.
- Filter the oil to remove any solid particles.
- Store the oil in a clean, airtight container.
