Vrishamuladi Taila, processed with the root of Adhatoda vasica, is used for treating Vata disorders. It helps to pacify aggravated Vata, reduces pain and inflammation and promotes overall healing in the body.

Adult dose
For external use: as needed, for massage. For internal use: 5-10 ml (if intended for internal use by the manufacturer/practitioner and quality assured).
Pediatric dose
2.5-5 ml for internal use (adjust based on age and weight), as needed for external application
Preparation steps
- Collection of raw materials and authentication.
- Preparation of Kashaya (decoction) using specified herbs.
- Preparation of Kalka (paste) using specified herbs.
- Mixing of Kashaya, Kalka, and Taila (oil) in appropriate proportions.
- Heating the mixture under controlled temperature until all moisture is evaporated and only oil remains (Sneha Paka).
- Filtering the oil to remove any solid particles.
- Allowing the oil to cool and then storing it in airtight containers.
Safety contraindications
- Not recommended for individuals with Kapha disorders, indigestion or acute fever.
