Adult dose
15-30 ml

Preparation steps
- Prepare a decoction of the herbs listed in the formulation.
- Filter the decoction to remove any solid particles.
- Add jaggery or sugar to the decoction and mix well until dissolved.
- Add Woodfordia fruticosa (Dhataki) flowers to the mixture as a fermenting agent.
- Transfer the mixture to a fermentation vessel, traditionally made of clay or wood.
- Seal the vessel and allow the mixture to ferment for a period of 15-30 days, maintaining a constant temperature.
- After fermentation is complete, filter the liquid through a clean cloth.
- Store the Arishta in airtight containers in a cool, dry place.
Safety contraindications
- Contraindicated in pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children below 5 years of age.
