Preparation steps
- Collection of authentic raw materials.
- Shodhana (purification) of ingredients, if required.
- Preparation of a decoction or paste of the ingredients as per classical guidelines.
- Mixing the paste with the base oil (e.g., sesame oil).
- Heating the mixture under specific temperature and time conditions (Snehapaka).
- Filtering the oil to remove any solid particles.
- Allowing the oil to cool down.
- Testing the oil for quality control parameters.
- Packaging and storing in airtight containers.
Safety contraindications
- Not suitable for individuals with severe Pitta imbalances or bleeding disorders.
