Vidarika is a type of Prameha (urinary disorder) in Ayurveda, characterized by specific symptoms. It is a diagnostic term, not a medicine. Vidarika (Pueraria tuberosa) is also used as a rejuvenating herb and general tonic.

Adult dose
3-6 grams of powder, or as directed by an Ayurvedic physician depending on the formulation and condition.
Pediatric dose
1-2 grams with honey for children aged 6-12, under practitioner guidance.
Preparation steps
- The tubers are collected, cleaned, and cut into smaller pieces.
- These pieces are then dried completely, usually under sunlight.
- The dried pieces are ground into a fine powder.
- The powder is then stored in airtight containers to maintain its potency.
Safety contraindications
- Avoid in cases of known allergy to Vidarika (Pueraria tuberosa).
