Adult dose
Decoction: 50-100 ml, once or twice daily. Powder: 3-6 grams, once or twice daily.
Pediatric dose
Decoction: 15-30 ml, once or twice daily. Consult a physician for precise dosage.
Preparation steps
- Collect all the ingredients of Vidarigandhadi group.
- Wash, dry, and coarsely powder the ingredients.
- Boil the powder with water to prepare a decoction (Kwatha).
- Reduce to one-fourth quantity.
- Filter the decoction.
- Add sugar and honey as per taste and requirement.
- Mix well and consume while warm.
Safety contraindications
- Not recommended for individuals with uncontrolled diabetes, acute respiratory distress, or severe systemic infections.
