Varunadi group is a decoction traditionally used to address internal abscesses by reducing inflammation and balancing Kapha and Vata doshas.

To be used as a decoction to treat internal abscesses along with Ushakadi group as Prativapa.
Indications
- Urinary disorders, calculi (kidney stones), urinary tract infections, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), edema, inflammatory conditions, obesity, and abdominal distension. Helpful in Vata and Kapha predominant conditions.

Adult dose
15-20 ml with 45-60 ml of boiled and cooled water, twice daily on empty stomach.
Pediatric dose
10-15 ml with 30-45 ml of boiled and cooled water, twice daily on empty stomach.
Preparation steps
- Soak the herbal ingredients in water overnight.
- Add 16 parts of water to the herbs.
- Reduce to 1/8th or 1/4th quantity by mild to moderate heat.
- Filter while warm and consume.
