Adult dose

Pediatric dose

Contraindicated.

Preparation steps

• Selection of appropriate medicated oil or decoction based on patient's condition and dosha imbalance.
• Sterilization of equipment (catheter, syringe).
• Patient preparation: Ensure empty bladder and bowels. Cleanse the genital area with warm water or herbal solution.
• Positioning the patient comfortably.
• Gentle insertion of the catheter into the urethra or vagina/uterus.
• Slow administration of the medicated oil or decoction.
• Retention of the medicine for a few minutes.
• Removal of the catheter.

Safety contraindications

• Pregnancy, menstruation, active pelvic infections, severe urinary tract infections, vaginal bleeding of unknown cause, recent surgeries or trauma to the pelvic area, severe vaginal or cervical inflammation, bleeding disorders.
