Key ingredients
- Ushaka - Quantity sufficient for decoction
- Saindhava Lavana
- Madhu
Adult dose
2-4 drops in each nostril
Pediatric dose
As directed by the physician.
Preparation steps
- The ingredients are finely powdered and mixed together.
- The mixture is then macerated with a suitable liquid medium, such as honey or sesame oil, to form a paste.
- The paste is then allowed to dry in the shade.
- The dried paste is then ground into a fine powder and stored in an airtight container.
Safety contraindications
- Not recommended during acute fever, bleeding disorders, or severe nasal bleeding.
