Ushakadi alleviates Vata dosha and may be used in conditions involving abscesses when combined with Varunadi group. Ushakadi Gana is a preparation used in the treatment of Kaphamedohara, Ashmari, and Mutrakricchra.

Adult dose

Preparation steps
- The Ushakadi group consists of Ushaka (alkaline earth), Saindhava salt, Shilajatu, the two kinds of Kasisa, Hingu and Tutthaka.

- Mix all powdered ingredients in the specified proportions.
- If preparing a paste (Leha), mix the powder with honey or another suitable binding agent to achieve the desired consistency.
