Trivrit Sneha is a medicated ghee preparation primarily used for purgation and oleation, especially in Pitta-dominant conditions.

Type of Sneha (oil/fat preparation) used as medicine and also in preparatory procedure called snehakarma.

- Constipation, abdominal distension, ascites, hemorrhoids, skin diseases, loss of appetite, intestinal worms. Useful in conditions involving Vata and Kapha imbalances in the digestive system.

Preparation steps
- Collect the necessary ingredients as per the classical formulation.
- Prepare a decoction (Kashaya) of the herbs mentioned in the formulation.
- Mix the herbal decoction with ghee and other specified oils.
- Heat the mixture on a low flame, stirring continuously until all the water evaporates and only the oil remains.
- Filter the oil through a clean cloth.
- Store the oil in a clean, airtight container, away from sunlight and moisture.
Safety contraindications
- Not suitable for individuals with severe diarrhea or dehydration.
