Kulmasas are a type of fermented grain preparation used to improve digestion and appetite. They are often made with barley, rice, or other grains and seasoned with spices.
Indications
- Indigestion, anorexia, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, Ama accumulation, and Vata-Kapha disorders of the digestive system. It's especially indicated when there is a lack of digestive fire (Agni).
- Useful in treating weak digestion and to improve overall strength.
